The National Digital Archives cooperate with many state institutions and non-governmental organisations. The joint activities of the NDA and other institutions regard in particular: providing access to archive materials, digitalization, open source traffic and scientific development.
The most important aspects of the cooperation
The National Digital Archives are a source of archive materials which are necessary to organise exhibitions, cultural events, or for publications.
The National Digital Archives were the first state institution in Poland to adopt the rule of building all IT systems and software based on open source components. The NDA take an active part in the initiatives of people propagating open source programming in Poland.
In 2008, the NDA completed the construction of the Digitalization Laboratory. Owing to this project, the NDA are able to make the highest quality digital copies. It is notable that thanks to the solutions applied, also materials such as albums or catalogues may be digitalized without any problem.
The National Digital Archives are open for cooperation with universities and research entities. We also conduct a programme of introducing students into the activity of the NDA and key issues of the contemporary archive studies.
