Director
Piotr Zawilski is a graduate of Polish archeology at the University of Łódź and postgraduate studies in archivistics at the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
He started working for the state archive service in 1989 at the State Archives in Łódź. In 1998, he became the director of the State Archives in Piotrków Trybunalski, and in 2006, the State Archives in Łódź.
He is interested in e.g. World War I history and Holocaust research.
Deputy Director
A graduate of the Institute of Scientific Information and Book Studies at the University of Warsaw.
She has been working for the National Digital Archives, previously known as the Mechanical Documentation Archive, since 1998. She was responsible for recording, developing and sharing photographic documentation, as well as preparing digital copies of the materials being developed. In 2012, she took the position of the head of the Film and Sound Recording Department.
She is interested in the history of phonography, photography and American literature of the 20th century.
