When a horse suddenly becomes sick	-	the duty non-commissioned officer immediately reports this to the veterinary doctor and the section’s officer or non- -commissioned officer in charge of inspections.
In the morning after reveille, the stable’s duty non-commissioned officer reports to the sergeant on all incidents that have taken place during the night. The duty non-commissioned officer’s report takes the following form: “SIR... duty non-commissioned officer X, platoon stable X, battalion X, regiment X – during my duty no incidents occurred (or such and such occurred)”.
