Święto żołnierza – skok, 15 sierpnia 1933 r. Soldier’s Day – jump, August 15th 1933
When the horses are lined up according to age group, the first to pass during the review parade is the detachment commander, followed by the officers of the detachment, then the sergeant and farriers. Passing the reviewing officer, they all salute, then take their place next to the reviewing officer and stand in the following positions: detachment commander and officers to the right of the reviewing officer, and non-commissioned officers in one rank opposite the reviewing officer at a distance of 9 steps. Between the reviewing officer and the rank of non- commissioned officers a free passageway must remain, along which the horses are led. As he passes, the non-commissioned officer appointed head of each age group of mounts salutes and reports on the march “Mount age group year X, horses X” after which he stands next to the sergeant, and when the last horse of that age group passes, the non-commissioned officer returns to his horses. Where the horses stand according to initial counting off at the review parade, the first to pass is the detachment commander followed by the sergeant and master farrier, then the commander of the leading platoon, with behind him the platoon sergeant and platoon farrier. Officers and non-commissioned officers take their place and stand the same way as before. The platoon commander reports: “Platoon X, horses X”.
A hot-blooded or wilful horse may be led to review with its reins on the bit separated and with one set of reins being held in each hand. Very wilful horses should be led in twos on two reins or else be ridden.
