Sports played a significant role as far as propaganda is concerned – the party took advantage of the fact that tournaments and competitions were very popular. The presented photograph illustrating a track and field competition at ‘Skra’ stadium in Warsaw seems to contradict this view and – probably because of this – it has not been published. 1973.
