Licencyjny autobus Jelcz PR-100, potocznie nazywany Jelcz-Berliet, gdyż produko- wany był na licencji podupadającej francuskiej firmy. Umowę licencyjną podpisano z powodów politycznych, pomimo niespełniania przez autobus wszystkich wymagań. Na wyniki nie trzeba było długo czekać – pojazdy były bardzo awaryjne i ostatecznie zastąpiły je węgierskie ikarusy, wycofane z trasy dopiero w 2013 r. Warszawa, 1974.
Jelcz PR-100 bus was commonly known as Jelcz-Berliet, as it was produced under the licence of a French company falling into decline. The licence agreement was signed for political reasons, despite the fact that the bus did not meet all the requirements. The ef- fects appeared very soon, as the buses were very unreliable. They were finally replaced by Hungarian ‘Ikarus’ vehicles, which were withdrawn only in 2013. Warsaw, 1974.
