Umieszczenie koni
Stabling horses
Horses are housed in general government stables, and where such are not available, in private stables and buildings. Every horse should have its own stall, separated from those adjacent to it. The size of such stalls ranges as follows: Closed stalls – cages measuring 2.75 m x 3 m, open stalls with solid side walls – 1.75 m x 3 m, and open stalls separated by a removable bar – 1.50 m x 3 m. Such removable bars should be wrapped with straw, and should hang freely, suspended higher near feed troughs and lower near the hind- quarters. The width of the space (corridor) behind horses in permanent stables should be 2.5 m. and in other cases, not less than 1.5 m. Private buildings chosen as stables should be about 4 m. high from floor to ceiling, so that the horses have enough air. In any stables lower than this, only a smaller number of horses should be housed“.
