Płaszcze i jesionki także były odcięte lub przewiązane paskiem na linii bioder, spięte asymetrycznie klamrą lub ozdobnymi guzikami. Kołnierz, mankiety i dół wykańczano futrem ( ). Czasami w niektó- rych modelach pojawiały się aplikacje, np. w kształcie plecionki ( ).
Najpopularniejsze buty – w zależności od pory roku – to damskie trzewiki i pantofle, wsuwane, z paskiem zapinanym prosto przy kostce, skrzyżowanym na podbiciu lub w kształcie litery T ( , , ); uszyte ze skóry lub z atłasu, na bardzo popularnym obcasie na- wiązującym do obuwia z czasów Ludwika XVI (stąd nazwa – „molierki”).
Wymagający styl zmienił także kobiece uczesania. Długie włosy upinano w niski kok, a nad uszami formowano pejsiki lub nioby ( ). Niektóre kobiety decydowały się na ich obcięcie ( , ), wszak od połowy lat 20. wiodącym stylem była la garçonne – chłopczyca, która większość swoich ubrań pożycza od mężczyzny i dopasowuje do siebie. To wtedy pojawiają się w szafach kobiet proste garsonki, krótkie spódnice, sportowe buty, mniej zabudowane kostiumy kąpielowe ( ), a nawet spodnie.

Coats and overcoats were also cut off or tied with a belt on the hip line, tied asymmetrically with a buckle or decorative buttons. The collar, cuffs and hem were often finished in fur ( ). Sometimes appliqué appeared on certain designs,for example in the form of braid ( ).
The most popular shoes – women’s bootees and slippers, depending on the time of year – were slip-ons with the strap fastened directly at the ankle, crossed over the instep or T-shaped ( , , ), made of leather or satin, on a very popular heel evoking the shoes of the Louis XVI period, also called “molieres”.
The demands of fashion also changed women’s hairstyles. Long hair was done up in a low bun, with side curls or classical plaits shaped over the ears ( ). Some women decided to cut their hair short ( , ), since after all, the leading style since the mid-twenties had been la garçonne – the tomboy look, where they
“borrowed” most of their clothes from men and adjusted them to suit them- selves. It was then that women’s wardrobes began to feature simple suits, short skirts, sports shoes, flimsier swimsuits ( ), and even trousers.
