The collection of films numbers almost 2,400 titles from the years 1928 - 1993. Most of the material (approximately 90%) originates from the Institute of Educational Studies as well as ‘Sportfilm’ and ‘Czołόwka’ Film Producers. The majority of the collection contains film chronicles: Polish, dated 1958 - 1975, mostly army service related, and German from World War II period, focused on military activities and living in occupied territories, including the General Government.

  • Priceless are the films made in the 1920’s and 1930’s, especially ‘Polonia Restituta’ documenting the efforts in negotiating the newly restored Poland’s borders.
